Perfect for me, we get fast growing trash trees at a couple inches maximum, but in the dozens, every year. I nearly bought this last time, glad it came back around.

I always wonder about Woot items. Where they come from ya know. I mean, do they have "a guy" who's just like (turn on Brooklyn accent) "ey, got a box a chainsaws you can get for a re-al good price"

This is one of those things that you would like to have 'just in case.' (and not just-in-case for the zombie apocalypse, but just in case a tree falls down at your house, your parents, etc.)
I hesitated before, but will pick this up on the woot-off. Reviews have it more expensive. There's a website called ChainsawsDirect (seriously? a website solely for chainsaws? what will the interwebs think of next?) and they sell it for $209.
Overstock has it for about $150.
Both websites gave it fair reviews.

Strange that the write-up (which I loved) omitted commenting on the contagious-splatter problem. If you're dealing with some kind of blood-borne pathogen, the last thing you're going to want is something spraying that around, at least at close range.

They don't show you the tax until the very last screen.. Once I didn't see the tax until after I placed the order, but they seem to have fixed that problem...

this is a great saw.I own two saws(66 cc & 72cc )echo 560-husqvarna 372 I needed a small saw for cutting limbs.It cranks good and run good.I cut a lot of fire wood to use in my out side wood furnace.this saw is bargan.

This saw is OK if you really just need a big set of kippers, an 8" green tree--------not enough soup!!!! If you want to whack off a bunch of 2-3" branches and keep the R's up, it'll do. If you really need a saw, go get a Stihl.

One for the trunk of each car and one for under the bed.

So do the home-woots change every couple of hours instead of once a day? can't figure out where to actually buy the chainsaw. Actually have this exact chansaw at home and absolutely love it, paid over twice as much for it a year ago at sears (was on sale then even)...anyways, would love to pick up another one.
