Does the ever-expanding shift into cool colors represent some sort of frigidity?

We own other Joseph Joseph kitchen stuff and all have been really good. Don't have this one though, so in for 1.

Cheaper than Amazon, but they didn't get the best of reviews. They look very cool, but apparently are just made out of cheap plastic that isn't even safe for use in the microwave.

These are cute, but I like to put almost everything in the dishwasher. I have a nesting set of Pyrex bowls that can go everywhere including the oven.

I wonder how many of these will meet an untimely demise in the microwave. I may want to invest in glass turntables for microwaves and paper towels.

The dealbreaker here is that it's not microwave safe. Otherwise it's a cute design.

When one of these got lost or broken I would be so annoyed that I'd have to throw the rest of them out.

You can't use the strainer (sieve) in the dishwasher?? Good grief -- pass. I'll handwash some things but a sieve is not one of them.

I had some of the these...pretty, but pretty useless, especially the measuring cups. The handles on the cups are raised so there is no way to level the ingredients. Not a good deal even at this price.

This is perfect for my daughter-in-law. Tiny kitchen and not much equipment. In for one!

Would like this better if they were all the same color and I had a choice of colors.

I bought these for cheaper at Home Goods, and they are not worth the price of admission. They are really cheap plastic. The colander was broken within a use or two. I was thinking they were of melamine quality plastic, but they are not. They have been relegated to storing things in my basement. I would not endorse, even for a backup set.

I bought one of these in December for $50. My wife loves it. It's a real space saver. I'm in for 3 to give as gifts.

It's always a good idea to only microwave in ceramic or glass. Plastics will migrate/leach into the food and even "microwave safe" will migrate. The government just sets a level they assume is safe for the label to be used. Sure it is much much less than shown in animals but doesn't have to be studied in humans.

I use glass. And why are people microwaving mixing bowls anyway?

This set is actually ideal for a college student since it is time saving and you have a lot more of them in the same space.

Thank you! I keep seeing these complaints about the microwave and dishwasher ...no need to be in either if those, stop being lazy, it 2 minute to wash and dry and put away!
