These... are magical

I'm a Wootaholic, the government offers me no assistance programs, nor would I want one.

32oz for $23.
At Crate and Barrel similar caramels are selling today 32oz for $46.
At William Sonoma, 9oz for $27 (32oz for $108.)

So even if we're just talking mediocre gourmet caramels, they're a decent deal.

Mmmmmm. Caramels.

You're getting two sets of ~28 pieces of caramel: one dark, one milk chocolate. That's where the per container comes in.

What you see in the picture is what you are getting.

The info needs updating.

I remember reading that this used to be packaged in two boxes, one box of a pound of milk and one box of a pound of dark. However, this is now packaged as one box instead of two hence the confusion when reading the info. Should be changed to 56 pieces per container.

On topic of the amazingly delicious chocolates:

Buy buy buy!
I resisted the past few times but couldn't resist this time, even if only for one box(that I will eat by myself maybe which is why I try to resist).

These chocolates are some of the best chocolates I have ever had, along with the toffee that woot also offers. I am not a fan of milk chocolate yet still like them very much. Love the dark pieces!

The biggest issue I saw with other people is that they are not able to appreciate the sophistication of the salt on top. The find it different in a way that they can't fully comprehend thus not necessarily liking it. Although, they seem to like the pieces if the salt is removed.

If you have never tried these before, you should at least give it a try before deciding they are too expensive or not to your liking. Especially if you think these are too expensive since they are cheap in comparison to anything you can buy close to as good as these are.

Insta-buy. In for the max. And free shipping for the other stuff I've been waiting on.
Now lets see if that balsamic is still around and some D'ontspille Le Black and some ... Oh jeez. There goes the budget. Darn you, Woot¡

Corn syrup before sugar? I'm surprised at the praise these are getting. I'm definitely going to try them though.

That said, I've sent an email for a correct to the 'per container' stat.

Thanks for clearing that up. I'd rather ask than assume, as I know I've been wrong before just assuming.

I... cant. Just cant! At 56 x 120 = 6720 calories per box

That's almost 2 lb (7000 cal) of pure body fat per box

This kind of temptation is the ruin of men!

My brain must thus compensate for my lack of willpower.

Hate me now, thank me later!

I have honestly never heard of these before. Possibly because I do not eat sweets. However, on the chance these might provide conversion therapy, I am in for one. I am simply afraid I may be missing out on something. In for the "Woot cheese" too.

Oh, yeah, had to get these again. Bought them last time and they arrived all melted together in a messy blob.

The wonderful people at woot sent another box.

I'm hoping to have another melted box because melted blob and all, they were still delicious and I scored a bonus box.

I'd like to order but don't want to have boxes sitting around. If i could freeze portions and thaw when needed it would help me place an order.

BTW I ordered the peanut butter cups and they are very good. I portioned them into snack bags (4 to a bag) and put them back in the box and placed it in the freezer. Nice little treat to thaw when needed!

Freeze them...you can and you should....In for 3 AGAIN

Finally! I've been waiting so long for these. I bought only one box last year and regretted it since all my friends loved them. This year I'm buying two boxes, one for me and one for others. Does anyone know when they'll arrive? I'd love to add a few prices to my Christmas presents this year which are homemade cookies ;)

Okay. Y'all convinced me. In for three! Will give some away as gifts to sea-salted caramel lovers that I know.

They'll complain about the milk-chocolate, though. Dark chocolate snobs!

Unfortunately, it is only good for gifting the *entire* box. Not cool. Very few people are worthy of an entire 1/3 of my supply.

I mean, 4-6 pieces for a gift is appropriate, right?

Williams Sonoma sells this same brand of salted caramels. They charge $27 for 9 oz. These are $23 for 32 oz.

We bought these last year and they were fantastic. We had also purchased the WS product before we had purchased these; they are the same product, just different packaging.

Do these come in a nice box, or is it literally a plain white box like in the pictures? I was thinking about giving these as christmas presents.

Whole Foods has them and they are good.

says " These wonderful caramels are made with natural creamery butter and blended with a sprinkle of Fleur de Sel, or 'flower of the sea.' This exquisite sea salt is hand-harvested in Guerande, France and adds a hint of mellow saltiness to the dense sweetness of the caramel - a real treat with after-dinner coffee."

Hey there this is Kipi from the candy basket. Hi to all, we are so grateful to be back with our salted caramels. I noticed an error, the box is 32oz. There are 56 pieces in each box half in milk half in dark chocolate. The serving size should state two pieces. Sorry for the error
