Moussaka and Baklava for me.

Eastern European, nothing like pork, potatoes, and sauerkraut, spiced up with paprika.

Japanese!
Yay sushi! Yay teriyaki! Yay katsudon! Yay sukiyaki! Yay mochi!

Greek / Mediterranean. Although a new Greek fast food chain which just opened up in town is trying to convince me otherwise.

Still, when made properly this is still my favorite food.

LOL... as always I am in the minority... My favorite food varies from day to day... today I am craving some soul food! Growing up in Montana wasn't much varied food... but I being a foodie have explored. I love all kinds of food... today Soul Food hits the ticket. Fortunately my friends, neighbors, and countrymen love to show me what I am missing... Ethiopian would have been second choice. This woman loves good cooking!!!

loved my time in Germany ... the best bread and couldn't go wrong ordering there!!! Interesting part for americans is you sit down wherever with people you don't know and just eat... love it

Growing up in Georgia I heard people on TV and in movies talk about "soul food", but I had no idea what it was.

I was in my twenties before I realized "soul food" was a Yankee term for what we Southerners call "food".

We got cornbread and greens and black-eyed peas in our school lunches, and we had fried chicken every Sunday at home.

Japanese, of course. I can't believe that wasn't in the options!

(Chicken Katsu and Tonkatsu -pork- are amazing cooked cutlets, if you want to try Japanese, but are not willing to try sushi, fyi.)

I eat and enjoy everything on the list. I love the adventure of exploring AUTHENTIC cuisines from all over the world. (Americanized chains need not apply)

But when I need comfort food, or just want to "go home", it's the foods my Grandmothers brought here (and I learned to make) that fill the bill. Peasant foods, indeed, but oh my...

Everything and anything. Love food. Only requirement is that it is fresh and nutritious.

Nothing says America better than a great steak!

There's not a whole lot I don't like to eat. But hands down, the best food I've ever had was in Boca Raton at a little Peruvian seafood resturant. Oh my stars! It was soooo good.

Yeah, Woot!fail at not including Japanese, someone there must hate sushi.
