With the exception of the lights on the porch everything gets put away New Year's Eve. And the tree is taken out and burned, a ceremonious ending of the year!

Mid January.

Usually the first weekend after New Year's - although one year when I was a kid, it was still up on Valentine's Day!!!

I stop turning the outdoor lights on after 1/1, but the weather dictates how long those decorations actually remain up.

Christmas decorations usually come down no later than the weekend after Christmas, but I often end up doing it the day after. I love Christmas, and I hate being reminded that it's over.

We take ours down pretty much immediately when Christmas ends. I should note, however, that the feast of Christmas starts the season of Christmas on December 25th, and Christmas runs officially until the feast of the Baptism on Sunday, January 13th (at least this year, it varies by year), so we leave everything up until the end of the Christmas season.

Usually on New Years....unless I'm hungover. Meep.

Anything outside or alive comes down new years day. Anything else when I just have nothing better to do.

Yup. We take ours down on Epiphany, or the weekend following if that's in the middle of the week.

When we get a chance too take them down sometimes after New Years Day

I generally keep them up until the 1st or 2nd weekend in January

I'm reluctantly taking mine down this weekend, which is pretty much the usual. This year we split Christmas and had a celebration with one half of the family on the actual day and with the other half of the family on New Year's weekend, so it makes sense to still have them up.

Usually after the wifes birthday, shortly after new years.

Sometime around new years -- no later than MLK day.

Most of the decorations are put away.
Village is still up as are some snowmen, but those are "Winter Decorations".

I guess we still have another Tree up -- that'll probably go down this weekend.

My family always took them down on the Epiphany so that's when I do it.

One month. I put them up after my birthday, which is Dec. 4th and take them down shortly after New Year's.

So I shouldn't feel bad I didn't get to it last weekend, right?

Usually around the beginning of the new year. People in the South put them up so early (immediately after Thanksgiving) that I can't stand to look at them for much longer than that.

Also, if we're discussing Holiday Decorations, why aren't the end of Hanukkah / Kwanzaa / Winter Solstice / The New Year celebrations mentioned as options? If you mean Christmas, then say Christmas. If you mean multiple Holidays, include more than just one holiday that you can mention by name.
