Weather doesn't matter.. My house has been trashed for weeks. I know I need to clean it but I would rather sit and play Xbox.

If it's winter and warm enough to open the windows, we clean. You only get so many days to defunk the air here in new England.

Totally agree, warm enough to open the windows and let some clean fresh air in. You need to get that stuff air out

My house only gets a through cleaning when I know I've got company coming. I wished I wasn't like that, but I'm am. However, my yard always looks good. I LOVE to work outside!

MY house, filthy? NO WAY! I'm married to a cleanaholic. Obviously, this poll is not meant for me. Besides, we live in South Florida, it's always sunny.

If it's a WARM sunny day, I'd open all the windows and clean with the fresh air breezing through. =^_^=

Clearly those folks that said they would clean the house on a sunny day do not live in the Pacific Northwest. When it's sunny, you get out there and enjoy it!

I'm married to a bona fide slob. I'm pretty sure she's auditioning for an episode of Hoarders. I can't compensate for her bad habits while holding down a full-time job (believe me, I've tried). So I end up outside (or at the office) to escape the dust & clutter, rain or shine. At least there are no critters living amongst the junk (yet).

Close the drapes so the sunshine doesn't highlight the dust/dirt. That means I'll be exercising too since I'll have to adjust the drapes periodically as the sunshine shifts. Who sez avoidance doesn't require planning and perseverance!

Use half the day for picking up making things livable. The other half outside doing whatever.
