I got this on the first round, and haven't really looked back since. Still working almost as good as the day I bought it, the only thing is that a couple of the rain nozzles aren't spraying perfectly straight(big deal, not). I did pull the regulators out as soon as I got it, almost drowned in the shower, but finally settled on a compromise of no flow regulator in the wand, and one in the main head. I also notice no difference in the eco rain versus rain setting on the wand, but there is a slight difference on the main head (regulator makes the difference I think).

This unit does have a jet blast, but no pulse massage. If you are looking for a massaging shower head, you may want to look elsewhere. But I love this to death, especially the misters. You either like misting or you don't.

I also have a 60* house, but I also have a space heater in the bathroom. I pity those who don't have a heater in their bathroom.

It's a huge waste to step away from the stream rather than just flip it to off. If I turn off the water then it's either to hot or too cold since mine are separate controls.
Since this has the switch between the hand wand and the shower head I was wondering if one of the settings shuts the water stream off?

There is a 'pause' setting, which cuts the water to a trickle.

I believe it is illegal to make a shower head that will completely shut the flow off.

Bought two last time for the two bathrooms in my home. If I had more showers to buy for, I would buy these again.

This is a great product for the price.

I'm thinking "unique housewarming gift". Sure beats a bottle of wine/spirits or yet another casserole dish.

I'm just hanging out, really.

Thank you for that. I purchased one at the last woot and it just trickles down the handheld sprayer cord. I will be taking out my flow restricter today. I also purchase it for cleaning the shower and cleaning the dogs.

My wife, feeling an urgent need to keep a vast array of hair care products in the shower, had me install a typical over-the-shower multi-tier racks. Then her desires turned to just this type of item - a two-piece shower head arrangement with the handheld device.

Where I've run into problem is the rack and the shower assembly want to occupy the same space.

Anyone run into that with this one?

Sugar 'em up and send 'em home

I too am having trouble. I actually bought this last time, and I can't believe how much everyone loves it. I cant get any water pressure, even when I just have the water coming from the top head. I need to remove the restricters, and cant figure it out. TIA

The flow restrictor is just inside the handle of the hand held shower head. It is a little deeper down on the stationary shower head. (Just past the ball joint.)

Grab a flat head screwdriver and pry it out. Pops out fairly easily.

I recommend shutting off the water before changing the dial. With the water turned on it requires significant force to turn the dial to a different setting. Something inside the handheld showerhead eventually broke and now when I adjust the dial it likes to get stuck in Pause mode.

Where are they getting 24 settings is a mystery to me.

...Count the three positions of the zone flow:
stationary head
hose head
both heads

times the settings of the heads:
Rain
Power Massage
Stay-Warm Mist
Economy Rain
Pause

That's 3x5=15

WHERE is the 24 settings?

Oh, wait, you can have the stationary head on power rain and the hose head on Economy rain or the stationary head on power massage and the hose head on pause...

So,
1x5 modes of stationary head
1x5 modes of hose head
5^2 modes of stationary + hose head
equals 35 modes...

Still not getting 24 modes???

What am I missing?

I bought one of these last time around. The wife and I love it. It's perfect for the shower in our master suite since we shower together most of the time.

She told me to buy another one if it ever came up again for our guest bathroom. So, I am in for another.

Just wanted to let you know, in case this item doesn't do what you need it to do, that I've got a shower head from Lowes that lets you shut off the flow w/o shutting off the tap. It's very utilitarian but would solve your problem. (Mine is essentially the same due to a tiny hot water heater and small stall shower.) You simply move the lever to adjust between full-on to full-off or something inbetween. It's also designed so that the spray has more force to it so you don't feel like you're getting peed on when using a lower volume. Its chrome-plated brass. Sorry about that. When you click on the picture on the main page, you are taken to the offer page where you'll find sll the details on the item for sale.

Just below the photo gallery on that page is a tab for features and one for specs. Click on Specs and you'll see a link for the instruction manual for this item. Not all sales post the manuals but this one did.

I don't like the under the shower head type of racks because the water is always running down on them. I have a glass enclosure and use a nice hook over the top organizer on the side opposite the showerhead. In my son's bathtub shower, I use a corner rack that is held in place with a tension rod. They make really nice ones now.

Look for a shower caddy that has an expansion or area for the hose underneath. This style works particularly well if the shower hose isn't very flexible.

I have one similar to the following link and it seems decent.

If so, how do you switch the flow between the heads?

You can do one at a time, or both. There's a switch on the left side of the unit to switch between settings.

that was fun while it lasted!

All Incorrect.

...I am likely going to drill out the limiters a little bit and put them back in...we use way too much water with the fixed head on full blast.

I did exactly this. I drilled out the holes in the restrictor for the main shower head, so now it slows down the water flow just slightly, and it works great now. It was too low with the restrictor in, and too strong with the restrictor pulled out -- it was actually making my tub slowly fill up even with the drain open. I pulled the restrictor out completely from the hosed head; as others mentioned, that one seems to get less pressure, probably as a result of the added distance the water must travel thru the hose.

Like several other people, I bought this the first time Woot offered it about a month or two ago.

Drilling out the restrictor was super-easy. I used a standard drill head, and just carefully held the piece of plastic in my hand while operating the drill with minimal torque with the other hand, and made all three holes slightly bigger.

No regrets on my purchase - it's pretty much exactly what I was looking for.

Would this work in a small standing room only shower stall? I hate our small shower. But it is what it is. And would a automatic scrubbing bubbles shower cleaner still be able to hang from it or would that cord get in the way too much for that?

Some companies make shower curtains with pockets, which has made my life much easier. I use these thanks to an online coupon that popped up when I needed it, but I think there are others. (Obviously not for glass enclosure showers, but since shower storage is temporarily on-topic, thought I'd mention it.)

WOW. Thank you for this! I have a textured surround (read: suction cups don't work), an angled ceiling (no to tension rods), and the shower head that screws into the faucet (no pipe up high, so no hanging). I have found NOTHING to store items in the shower except for the rim of the tub. Thank you again!

Got mine the other day, installed it as per the wife's instructions in the guest/spare bathroom.

On the topic of shower storage, I bought three of these corner shelves and installed them in our master bath's shower.

They aren't cheap, and require drilling, but they should last nearly forever and are secure enough to hold big, heavy bottles of shower products.

Just took my first shower with it and so far, I am very happy!

I removed the restrictor on the top shower head and left the bottom one in tack.

The 2nd shower head does make a difference and I like the top shower head is now a foot higher than my previous... I don't need to bend when I shampoo.

Construction is, as noted by others, plastic and very light. Can't speak to the durability, but for the price, I am just fine with it.

I have a large shower caddy I have to put the hose to the side and lost 1 space for a large shampoo but that's OK. The hose is fortunately light and flexible so everything stays in place.

Based on just 1 shower, I am very happy and if things stays the same, I will definitely pick up a few more for friend's and family for some random gifting. Kind of wish I have more showers of my own so I can replace them all :P

I ended up using a sharp screw to grab one of the three holes and yank it out. The one in the flexible head was pretty easy.

Great tip, MrTuba9, to use a screw to remove the restrictors! I'll hang on to 'em should I, in the future, get a guilty conscience for taking looooong showers.

This showerhead is absolute garbage. All the fittings are plastic, and even following all the instructions, it leaks at the stem. Badly. No matter what combination of o-rings, plumber's tape, and lock nuts I tried. Hoping I can get a refund.

Sorry for the problems. We get very few complaints on these showerheads. The manufacturer has been very good to deal with according to wooters though so they may be worth a try.

Otherwise, feel free to email support@woot.com for assistance. Include your Woot username and order number for faster service.
