Hey! Now a SERIOUS cooking question for you herb grinders out there with some experience with this thing:
There are recipes that call for freshly ground herbs that aren't usually sold ground: Ground rosemary leaves are especially problematic. You can buy 'em almost anywhere, but they're always whole, never ground: The things are thinner than pine or fir needles, hard & springy, and when you try to grind them with a mortar & pestle, they go flinging all-over the place & don't grind well at all. Trying to mince them is even worse: They're hard & when you do connect to slice one, they go flinging-off your cutting board. A real pain. But they really taste good.
Anyone with any experience with this thing?
Also, is this ALL titanium, or is it made of something else (like aluminum) & simply plated (or sintered, or finished, etc...) in titanium?
