It seems recently there has been a trend towards downsizing that is, quite frankly, alarming. What ever happened to the days of 5,000 square-foot McMansions packed to the rafters with little porcelain figurines in curio cabinets and formal dinnerware with place settings for 30?

It used to be that you could tell a person's wealth by the number of throw pillows on their 20-foot sectional sofas. Now it's all about more tastefully-sized homes with nicer amenities and far less cabinet space to display your tin cannister collection.

Come on, people. Let's put an end to this craziness and get back to the old ways. Buy a bunch of this stuff. Together, we will ensure that socially irresponsible consumerism lives on forever.
