In the age-old battle between puppy and vacuum, who will reign victorious?

The nameless puppy formerly almost known as Raoul formerly known as Nameless Puppy looked up from his plush, cedar chip bed.

This Neato Pet & Allergy Robotic Vac was really pushing its luck. Nameless Puppy had clearly outlined the rules on that first day. "You stay out of my territory, and I won't use you as a chew toy." Yet, every day, the Neato and its powerful suction was back, picking up dirt, debris and the little clumps of dog hair that Nameless Puppy had chewed off of his tail and TOTALLY PUT THERE FOR A REASON!

"That's it," he thought. "No more Mr. Nice Pup. This Neato is cruisin' for a bruisin', and I'ma unleash the pain!"

Nameless Puppy got up and hid behind the bedroom door. He listened as the sweeping of the Neato's combination bristle and blade brush drew closer. He let off a courtesy bark to give the Neato a chance to retreat.

Still, the Neato advanced. Through the crack in the door, Nameless Puppy watched as the Neato effortlessly vacuumed up the kibble he had picked up out of his bowl in the kitchen and then spit out on the living room carpet.

"Hey! Hey! Hey! Heyheyheyheyhey!" he barked. "I was saving that for later!"

"Look at it," thought Nameless Puppy. "So smug with its bagless dirt bin." This Neato was no dummy. The way it cleaned methodically, in that back-and-forth pattern. Nameless Puppy was suddenly all too aware that he was facing a very intelligent adversary.

Still, he stood his ground. When that Neato turned the corner and reached the threshold of the door, it was on.

Nameless Puppy jumped out from behind the door and pounced on the Neato. He backed up and barked a few times, then dropped down on his front paws with his tail in the air to look as intimidating as possible.

But the Neato kept inching forward. So Nameless Puppy pounced one more time, and nipped at the Neato's sensor. "Ha! Try avoiding obstacles like furniture and walls now, you jerk!"

He was just about to strike again when the Neato suddenly turned and quickly retreated to its charging base. Sure, the Neato would tell you it was because its battery was low and it was programmed to recharge automatically. But Nameless Puppy knew better. He barked triumphantly and headed back to his bed for a dog nap.
