The "Get it by Christmas" tag across the picture is very amusing. When I picture someone unwrapping a big box from under the tree and getting a garbage can, the next part involves a lot of running.

I'm really not a fan of this trash can. I purchased one from Lowes a few years ago and have many complaints.

1) It is an odd shape, which is appealing, but not convenient when loading trash. If you push down on the trash to make more room, the bag will bow out. As you pull up to remove the trash bag, these bowed out sides catch on the lip of the can and will rip the bag.

2) It uses 8x AA batteries. That's crazy. There are others out there that use half that.

3) Your batteries don't last very long. I started using rechargeable batteries, and it barely holds a charge for a week. Disclaimer: it MAY be that the batteries are old. I can't remember how well it did when I first purchased them.

Thank you for the review. I didn’t know if I should or look for something else. I’ll be looking for something else. Great review
