The kit includes easy-to-follow instructions, a saliva collection tube with an activation code, and a pre-paid return mailer.

How do I activate my kit?
Activation is easy. Go to the website indicated in your instructions and enter the fifteen character alphanumeric activation code printed on the collection tube. Your test can’t be processed until you register your kit.
 
What happens at the lab?
Your DNA is analyzed at hundreds of thousands of genetic markers for a personalized report on your ethnicity and newly discovered relatives.

How long until I get my results?
Once you’ve activated your kit and we’ve received your sample, it takes roughly 6-8 weeks to deliver your results. During periods of high demand it may take longer.
