- Burrata alla Panna by Di Stefano: On the plate this pure, sweet fresh cheese resembles nothing more than a ball of cow's milk mozzarella with a topknot. Once the cheese has been cut open the soft and creamy center slowly runs onto the plate. A luscious filling of stracciatelle blended with Italian panna ("cream") is encased in a sheet of fresh mozzarella. Like jewels in a drawstring pouch -- a little ball with a big surprise inside - delicate, delicious and very decadent! This product is steeped in Italian tradition, even using cream imported from Italy for the filling. (8 oz)
- Fruited Mustard Sauce: At the start of the 20th century, Luigi Lazzaris & Son founded a small pastry shop in Conegliano Veneto, Italy. After much experimenting, he invented a sweet, spicy delicacy by mixing sugar, quince, candied fruit, and mustard oil together. Over the past 100 years, his confection has won many prizes. Although it was originally produced for a Christmas treat, mostarda is now consumed all year round. (4.2 oz)
