The Primacare PCP-69 Instant Cold Pack with Cover is a convenient direct replacement for crushed ice. It contains ammonium nitrate and water. You must squeeze it to activate it and shake packet to mix contents. This product does not need to be refrigerated and is for one time use. PrimaCare's cold pack comes with a non-woven cover, so that there is no direct contact of the cold pack to the skin.

For use when instant cold therapy is required
Use for first aid/sport injuries
Includes a non-woven cover
Consist of two bags, one with water the other with ammonium nitrate
Once package is activated the ammonium nitrate dissolves in the water lowering the packs temperature
Convenient direct replacement for crushed ice
Relieves aches and pains; do not refrigerate before activation, may result in frostbite; one time use only
