Before conditioning, shampoo the dog or cat's coat using a premium concentrated or ready-to-use pet shampoo. Rinse thoroughly. For problem coats: Use PRO 3 Dematting Rinse at full strength and work into the mats and tangles. Leave in the coat for 5 minutes and rinse thoroughly. For best results, blow dry with a high-velocity dryer while brushing out the mats and tangles. Precautions: Pro 3 Dematting Rinse is safe for use in both dogs and cats. As with any topical product, avoid contact with the pet's eyes. If irritation occurs, flush the eyes well with clear water or with a sterile eye wash.
