Silk-cotton is a natural cellulosic fiber that grows on the Silk-Cotton or Kapok trees found in Africa, Asia, and South America.  The tree itself is not cut down during harvesting, only the seed pods are removed and the fiber within is extracted, making this fiber sustainable and environmentally friendly.
