SuperB is a 40 weight trilobal polyester embroidery thread built for commercial use. It is supplied on a 5000 meter cone. In a production environment the thread is what stops the machine. Even thickness and low lint mean fewer breaks, fewer stops to rethread, and less lost time across a multi head run. Trilobal filament has three flat sides rather than a round cross section, which gives it the sheen normally associated with rayon. Being polyester, it takes industrial laundering and bleach without going dull or bleeding color into the fabric around it, so uniforms, workwear and corporate logos still look right after repeated washing. It is equally at home on a domestic machine.
