I love these coir mats, so much in fact, that I've tried using them in more way than just as a doormat. Unfortunately, these ideas rarely worked, and I learned the hard way that doormats work best as doormats. Anyway, in case you're curious, I've listed these failed attempts below.
Our first instinct was these mats were made by fish gils, but it turns out that no, that's Koi. Coir is a fiber extracted from coconut, which makes very little sense to us, but it DOES make us feel a lot better about all of the crap that falls off our shoes onto them.
