Was this a counterfeit????

This does not have the same nice thick handle that my old one (on left) has and the peeler itself is longer. This handle shape change is not as easy to hold. The blade works, it just isn't as quick and easy to use. It says "OXO" but it isn't "Good Grip". Could this be a counterfeit?

My potato peeler asked me for years and it finally became blunt. So I ordered the exact one again. I was very disappointed to see that the design has changed.. the handle is now straight and it’s not as ergonomic as it was before so I am a little bit disappointed

needed to replace my VERY OLD OXO peeler and this one was its twin. small redesign but still a good grip and hold on this tool. Old ones blades were chiseled and chipped even though stainless steel. always a great bang for my buck with ANY OXO PRODUCT and most of them are the winner in Americas Test Kitchen ratings and others. Typically Oxo quality - it’s great. Blade is harp and easy to handle. Wish the handle were metal as opposed to plastic but it fine since we will likely wear out the blade before the handle. Wish we could replace the blades as opposed to getting a whole new one.
