Remains the absolute best coffee grinder
By Corey Martiniano on Reviewed in the United States on May 10, 2025
This is the absolute best grinder I’ve ever used. I didn’t want to write a long drawn-out review, but it’s so useful I felt compelled to write something. I always do a lot of research before buying anything. I’m definitely THAT guy. This made it on a short list of grinders after an absurd amount of time (literally hours) of researching and watching videos. It’s probably a sickness doing that thorough of research for a sub-$50 purchase, but I digress. After that research I pulled the trigger and bought this one, and couldn’t be happier I did. That was a little while ago, probably a year and a half, and I’ve bought multiple ones for my friends since. This grinder has an extremely consistent grind and achieves that grind in literally seconds (not hyperbole whatsoever). It has a reasonable capacity too. It’s not Marianna’s-Trench level of capacity like some, but it doesn’t feel like I’m grinding coffee for ants either like some others. It’s perfect for making a batch of brew. It has held up very well under pretty hard and consistent use, with both my toddler son and me battering it to get coffee unpacked after a fine-grind. It’s even easy to clean. I use a dry napkin, get the majority of the leftover, then just run the metal part under the sink on low. It fills up, I pour it out, wipe it down and botta boom botta bing, it’s like new. Super simple, effective and straightforward kitchen tool. Definitely get it. Use my research-sickness to your advantage and just get it.

Not the silver bullet
By Amazon Customer on Reviewed in the United States on April 21, 2025
I have used this grinder daily for 6 months now. I would not buy it again and wish I had not purchased it. It is the dickens to clean. The plastic cover has an inner layer to it, which when water gets in it, cannot be reached with even a paper towel. It must sit for a day or two to dry out. The distance between the metal cup and the retainer in which it sits is such that grounds bounce off the plastic cover and end up underneath the metal cup. The metal cup itself and the plastic central sheath underneath the blade are made of materials that seem to encourage the coffee oils and grounds to stick. Lastly, it is not really silent at all. Yes, it is a little bit less noisy than the average one has come to expect with these products, but it's still very loud and over the six months it seems to have gotten even louder.
