Remains the absolute best coffee grinder
By Corey Martiniano on Reviewed in the United States on May 10, 2025
This is the absolute best grinder I’ve ever used. I didn’t want to write a long drawn-out review, but it’s so useful I felt compelled to write something. I always do a lot of research before buying anything. I’m definitely THAT guy. This made it on a short list of grinders after an absurd amount of time (literally hours) of researching and watching videos. It’s probably a sickness doing that thorough of research for a sub-$50 purchase, but I digress. After that research I pulled the trigger and bought this one, and couldn’t be happier I did. That was a little while ago, probably a year and a half, and I’ve bought multiple ones for my friends since. This grinder has an extremely consistent grind and achieves that grind in literally seconds (not hyperbole whatsoever). It has a reasonable capacity too. It’s not Marianna’s-Trench level of capacity like some, but it doesn’t feel like I’m grinding coffee for ants either like some others. It’s perfect for making a batch of brew. It has held up very well under pretty hard and consistent use, with both my toddler son and me battering it to get coffee unpacked after a fine-grind. It’s even easy to clean. I use a dry napkin, get the majority of the leftover, then just run the metal part under the sink on low. It fills up, I pour it out, wipe it down and botta boom botta bing, it’s like new. Super simple, effective and straightforward kitchen tool. Definitely get it. Use my research-sickness to your advantage and just get it.

Great Grind—Until It Gave Out After a Month
By pannu on Reviewed in the United States on June 19, 2025
I purchased the KRUPS Precision Electric Coffee Grinder because of its solid reviews, compact size, and promise of grinding coffee beans evenly and efficiently. For the first few weeks, it worked great — quick, consistent grinds whether I was prepping coffee or blending spices. It was easy to use, clean, and didn’t take up much space on the counter. Unfortunately, about a month in, it suddenly stopped grinding properly. The motor still runs and makes a shrill, whirring sound, but the blades no longer spin or engage the beans. I tried cleaning and checking for clogs, but nothing worked. It seems like the motor is spinning without actually driving the blade — possibly a mechanical failure. Amazon is great in understanding the issue and providing the resolution by refunding and accepting return. What I liked: Compact and sleek design Powerful motor (while it worked) Good grind quality early on Issues: Stopped working after ~30 days No obvious fix or way to repair Durability is questionable for daily use. May be better for spice grindig. Final Thoughts: When it worked, it was perfect for quick morning grinds and even handled spices like cloves and peppercorns with ease. But the early failure was disappointing, especially from a trusted brand like KRUPS. I hope this is just a one-off defect and not representative of all units. I’ve submitted a return request, and I’m hoping for a quick resolution. I’m sharing this in hopes that it helps others make an informed choice
