KitchenAid RRK150CV 5 Qt. Artisan Series Stand Mixer

I've had this for a couple of months now. Overall, even being 'Renewed', this is a great product. Pros: - Easy to use - Easy to clean - It's a workhorse - Seller sent it quickly - It's a great shade of blue Cons: - Supplied attachments are chintzy. Glad I had my original KitchenAid ones; they are much stronger in construction - The latch to keep it in the 'down/locked' position doesn't really lock well. On stronger or more hearty doughs, it slips back into the 'open/unlocked' position easily, which then makes the unit jump around quite a bit as it's running. Bottom line: Great purchase. If you're using it for stronger doughs, be prepared to stand over it holding the latch into the down/locked position (which for me personally isn't that big of a deal but it may be for some). UPDATE 15Feb22: While it *is* used once approximately every 3 weeks to make English Muffins I make for breakfast, in less than a year's time, the bowl no longer stays locked in to the base. At first I thought it was the baseplate (replaced that first) but the bowl still will not lock into place on its own and you have to stand there and firmly hold it in place while the unit is running. Will now have to replace the bowl as well. The mixer itself is still running excellently.
