Not 18" but ok for medium to small-sized cats

I ordered two of the XX-Small beds for our cats. The intention was to put the two beds on top of a chest, so I measured carefully to see what size would best fit. I chose the 18" long one, and trusted it to be 18" long, but it is barely even 17". The bed is fine for a medium sized cat (as pictured), but our chonk of a cat did not like it and was spilling out. The material and quality are fine, and there were no weird smells.

I use this bed inside my small puppy/dog crate. I like the comfort that it gives my new puppy when he is sleeping at night or when he’s ready for a nap. This bed is washable and I’ve already washed and dried it separately three times. I’ve been very happy that it looks brand new afterwards! It’s definitely durable! It slides easily into the smallest crate I could find. I live in Texas and we’ve had an unusually cold winter so far and I feel that my tiny “Chi” feels warm and comfortable anytime he’s sleeping. The size is perfect and there is no assembly. I’ll definitely reorder until he grows and is ready for a bed. Great Purchase!

We have 7 cats and this pad is always occupied, no matter where I put it -- bench, chair, floor, it doesn't matter. It's crazy to me, as this is the least expensive mat I've ever bought and it's their favorite by a lot. Perfectly sized for a 6- or 7-pound cat to snuggle comfortably, too small for our 18-pound chonk (but he does not let that stop him--he just spills out on the sides), just about right for our 10-pounder. Read the description/sizes carefully -- I bought this for the bottom of our Petmate carrier but I didn't realize that kennels, crates, and carriers weren't "standardized" sizes, and so this is a little small to fit our carrier. One star off as the bolsters are kind of stiff and I wouldn't consider them "pillows" even though it does not seem to bother the cats. Am ordering a larger size for the big cat too.

The Midwest Quiet Time Bolster Pet Bed Fleece is a useful pet product from Midwest Homes for Pets. It is one of multiple different dog beds sold by this manufacture but among them, this one ranks as the most practical. Its design is soft, it is machine washable, and it is easy to roll up and store. This dog bed has been part of my household for less than a year, but it is already a huge hit with my west highland white terrier. My dog isn't permitted on the furniture or beds due to his bad habits, so I decided one day to purchase him a dog bed so that he wouldn't be forced to sleep on the hard tile floor. He took a quick liking to the bed thanks to its softness and he has been enjoying his sleep better and staying asleep longer than he was before. Dogs can have accidents and mine is prone to them, so I knew it was only a matter of time until he had his first accident on or near this bed. Now, with some other dog beds, it would be very difficult to get the bedding completely clean, but it is easy with this dog bed because it is machine washable. You just place it directly in the washer, then transfer it directly to the dryer. It comes out clean and soft, ready to use again. Midwest Quiet Time Bolster Pet Bed Fleece has proven itself a very good addition to my dog's sleeping habits, but this isn't the perfect product. First, the base cushioning isn't very thick and you may need to place a folded up blanket underneath to get a more ideal level of cushioning. Another problem I have relates to washing. I am very thankful that this dog bed is machine washable, but if it gets washed too much, it slowly starts to fall apart, as I have experienced. So, if you buy this dog bed and find yourself washing it frequently, I recommend using the most gentle cycle possible, in order to keep the bed in one piece. Dogs deserve a soft place to sleep and the Midwest Quiet Time Bolster Pet Bed Fleece provides exactly that. It does have a few small issues, but it is still usable and my dog loves the comfort it provides.

I have bought several for my cats. Since they aren’t expensive if you catch the sale I can replace them when they start getting too dirty but I think you could wash them if you have two so the washer doesn’t make the unbalanced noise or take them to the laundry mat and use the front loader washers. I first started using them under the bed where the cats like to sleep sometimes because they were not thick and fit under there with plenty of height for the cat to get in them. Now I use one in my bed and they love that one too. It’s more of a pad thickness and I put a towel over it to keep it snuggly and free of cat fur longer.

I got this orange one long time ago, and none of my cats used it, but kept it anyway, then two years later I put it above the electric pad, and my girls started using it, so I bought a gray one next, then it was a way smaller than this orange though they are using these even other girl is pretty big lol, but I have a very big boy cat, he never tried on it.... he says tooooo small! (one in the picture, she is very tiny, smallest cat of mine!)
