It came with a lock but no key, however it seems to be of excellent quality
By Robert on Reviewed in the United States on May 5, 2025
I could not find a contact seller tab on the order, so I guess this is the only way to say the suitcase seems to be of good quality, however my problem is: The lock for the case was there, however the key for the lock was missing. So I have a suitcase with for lock for it but no key for the lock. If Amazon or the seller reads this I hope you contact me about how do I get a lock with a key so I can lock the case for travel.

Very poor customer service
By Kindle Customer on Reviewed in the United States on April 7, 2017
I am giving this set only one star because of the customer service. These looked like nice bags so we packed them up and set off to the airport for an adventure. Upon arriving at the airport we found that the handle on the large bag would not extend. Too late to do anything about it under the circumstances so just struggled with it. On arrival back home, there was a large tear in the second largest bag so it seemed that the luggage was not durable enough. We put in a request to Amazon to return the set. Evidently, this seller does not allow Amazon to handle returns so we were referred to the seller who informed us that It couldn't be returned because it was used. I wonder how one would know it f it were defective if one had not used it. Anyway, the seller sent us to the manufacturer who agreed that it could not be returned, but it MIGHT be eligible, for repair or replacement under the warranty. OK. We were sent a form to fill out with instructions that before we filled out the form, we MUST read the entire warranty. Done. They also wanted to have 2-3 pictures for each of the damaged cases sent showing the damage plus the front of the cases. The pictures had to be of a size that no one had to scroll down to see the complete picture. (Really?!). Also, a copy of the invoice from Amazon had to be sent in jpeg. form. OK. Got it. THEN we had to fill out the form stating the model number of each case which was to be obtained either from the tag that came on the case (riiight! I always save those. Who doesn't?) or obtained by going onto the company's web site to see what the number is. Surprise, surprise, there is nothing on the web site that tells what the model number of the individual cases might be. I took a quess, and proceeded to fill in the form with my name, address, city, state, country, email, and everything else except the hospital I was born in 72 years ago. Great! Ready to go! I hit send and error messages popped up. Much to my surprise, there evidently is no such place as the location of the house I have lived in for 36 years! Back to the drawing board. I deleted everything on the form and re-entered all the information, being careful to make SURE it was all accurate. Hit send. There is STILL no such location. I finally gave up and wrote to the company again to tell them of my irritation and that I intended to write a bad review. No answer for a week, so here is my review. If anyone would like a nice-looking, albeit non-functional, set of luggage, I would be happy to donate this one. By the way, I very seldom write reviews at all but this one needed to be written.

To check or not to check? That is the question, This guy travels well in the belly of the beast and then rides the convey with the big boys or settles in nicely overhead . Pockets galore and an expandable main cabin . what’s not to like
Lightweight attractive carry on

I needed a lightweight carry on that was large enough for a week but would not weigh a lot. I plan to travel where the airline carrier has set an 8 kg limit on the carry on and this works perfectly. The bag looks great and appears well made. It comes with a cheap lock but that can be easily changed.

Just pleased as punch with this set, and the price I paid. Allegiant has pretty strict sizing and this offered me a personal under seat item and carry-on that made the most of the odd sizing allowed. I was worried from reviews it would feel like my nephew's overnight suitcases when they go to visit grandma, but no, despite being light, this is a perfectly adult-sized set for someone that is looking to travel light. What I'm happy about, is it is a better set in person. Will it hold up? We shall see, but after spending bukoos of cash on an "expensive" carry-on for my significant other that came back shredded after his first flight (non-checked) I swore I was never going to do that again. I was mortified. This looks to be durable however, and there were small touches that just thrilled me. For example, the pockets on the tote and the suitcase zip all the way down the sides so they open widely, but their is a generous liner sleeve sewn in to keep items from falling out. They aren't shallow either and have room up and down and on the sides about an inch so you have plenty of room. There's a little tag pocket on the back and the color I chose–the grey/black–looks pretty stylish, and the little brand tags do as well. I really appreciate the shoe style pockets on lid and the additional mesh. A woman with flats/flip flops could easily fit two pair, but a man would probably need to put a shoe in each pocket. The interior is light colored and neutral. The extra bag flap looks well sewn in and I think with some velcro strapping, it and tote strap can be easily tied up neatly (that was my only complaint - those things flap about a bit when not in use.) That extra bag strap will make a nice way to tie on a travel pillow or coat/scarf however. I paired this with these packing cubes FINNKARE 6 Set Packing Cubes with Shoe Bag Travel Luggage Organizers Lightweight Travel Cube Set Compression Pouches System for Carry-on Luggage Rose Red but be aware you won't be able to use all the pieces - I used the large one as an extra organizer in my closet. My 13-in Macbook Air, in a neoprene style zippered sleeve fits in the tote and if I was inclined to bring my iPad 2 it would fit in the larger outside pocket of the suitcase easily, and my 3-1-1 bag in the top one. The tote pocket is also designed the same as the suitcase, so it also is roomy and should be perfect for slipping in a clutch wallet, and those things I want easy access to - glasses case, phone, etc. I haven't packed it full yet. The tote bag is slightly wider from end to end than the suitcase - maybe by an inch but doesn't look awkward. I don't know if it would tip - the set doesn't sit leaning back on it's footrest, so there is that potential. I didn't see a lot of complaints about that in the reviews so have my fingers crossed with appropriate packing it will be fine. The pull out handle has two stops. We'll see how the handle holds up to repeated use - I do suspect with more expensive sets you'll feel a smoother motion. I actually bought this set because again, my now-disposed-of-more-mid-range set failed too soon in that department. This one at least offers a zippered lining to access that if I need to doctor it. I would say if you're on the fence, don't hesitate to try the set. Although all things are relative, it doesn't present, or feel tangibly as any cheaper than the ones at the 2x-3x more expensive price point, and has been well thought out in terms of function. And, I figure unlike the last purchases, when it does fail, I won't feel like such a schmuck for wasting money!

Smaller than it looks and pretty fragile but easy to carry

So I both really like this bag and hate it. PRO: -shorter than you'd expect but very deep. Could easily fit all of my scuba gear in it easily _not too hard to carry for someone who is short. I hauled this thing across the world to Indonesia and in and out of one of those very tight ferries and up and down rickety gangplank. -has a strap for putting on another bag -actually well balanced so it doesn't just fall over right away -pretty all terrain. It kept rolling over sand, gravel, big gravel, potholes, and boat decks -Very lightweight so you can pack more CON: -More fragile than it looks: I had to put luggage straps on it to keep the sides from bowing out particularly when I lifted it by the handle. -only has 2 wheels so can be hard to steer at times -Front pocket zippers tore on the first trip WITH NOTHING IN THEM! I'm glad I didn't put anything in there as the zippers ruptured. Didn't unzip, just split! I managed to put it back together but by the time I got hope it had ruptured again and a lost a zipper pull. Gonna have to sew the pockets shut and not use them. -Fabric scuffs a lot easier than expected. I know flying is hard on luggage but I have 2 other fabric soft cases and they've lasted years of scuba trip mayhem without tearing. Corners on this bag were torn up like someone took a file to it. I'll reinforce it with glue on patches but disappointed -

We bought the 4 piece set for my in-laws in 2023. The first travel so far so good. They are traveling again this weekend, hope everything goes well as before. I bought a second set, and I hoping the same experience.
