The handiest thing!

The handiest thing! I've been needing one of these forever, don't know why I waited so long. Good build, firm connections, and protective foam on the cradle. Holds multiple types of guitar and lets you keep it handy for later. 5 star.

Not my Bass at 5th fret
By william mcmillan on Reviewed in the United States on March 9, 2025
Holds regular guitar and smaller. For that fifth fret lean. Build strong and easy to use. Folds up if not using or taking places. Unfolds to easy assembly. My problem bought for bass and I am hard with that fifth fret lean spot. And this stand doesn't cut the mustard. So used on one of my guitars that just happened to have the right bass stand but was just set up to that guitar. So now can use that on bass and this one on guitar which it is best at. No loss. A little gain. With no real pain.

Solid build, but the bottom fork is to wide for a Fender Stratocaster. It not very stable but it will do for now.
Good deal

I got this to replace a 10-year-old one all the cushions were breaking down for what I paid for this it is a really good deal nice and sturdy wont tip over easy so my early 80s Vintage Krammer is protected from accidental bumping in to falls I would recommend look like it will fit an acoustic really well too
Love It

I just bought a Stratocaster electric guitar and wanted a stand to put it away safely when I’m not using it. I chose this one because it didn’t cost the earth and was highly rated. I was a little apprehensive about a few bad reviews regarding stability but I needn’t have worried. My guitar weighs about 8lbs and has a regular smaller head. So when placed it on the rack it has a low center of gravity and is quite stable. Some guitars with a heavy head might not fare as well this may be the reason for at least some of the poor reviews. The stand has a three point base and the rear leg is very short which was a concern for stability. But having tried it, I can see why they chose this design because it takes up less room and can stand up close to a wall. My original intent was to leave it standing on the studio floor when I’m not using the guitar but with three puppies running around (who are just tall enough to reach the guitar on its stand) I soon changed my plan. I now have it standing on the back corner of a desk about three feet up from the floor. The stand is stable if you push directly backwards or sideways; a little less so at 45 degrees towards the back. But it seems very secure on my desk, looks really nice facing me and is in easy reach when I’m working. The cradle the guitar sits on is covered with foam and pivots so it’s very easy to quickly put the guitar down and seat the neck securely in the U shaped holder on the vertical stem at the back. The steel stem is height adjustable to suit a range of instruments and there is a rubber security strap that can be closed to prevent the guitar falling forwards. The strap is nice but not really necessary since gravity holds my guitar quite securely. For the low price, this stand is exceptional value. It is sturdy enough for most people though if you have small kids and/or pets running around you might want to look for something like a hard case or wall mount or something with a more permanent base. I can definitely see why this is such a popular stand. I’m amazed how inexpensive it was and it does its job well.
Perfect protection!

The On-Stage XCG4 Black Tripod Guitar Stand is a great choice for keeping my Squire Strat resting upright and secure when I'm not playing it. Nothing worse than leaning a beautiful guitar against something and having it fall over and be damaged. The On-Stage XCG4 Tripod Stand is very reasonably priced and sturdy enough to last for years. 5 stars!

We use this style at church, and one of ours was missing the tubing on the upper part. So, I bought this one and donated it. This isn't a luxury guitar stand, but it does the job at a reasonable price.
Works fine
