Perfect gift

This was given as a gift to my fiancé in 2012 and it's still working great! Pros: Great size - not too big or small Nice assortment of tools Durable Cons: None - has held up really well to repeated use over the last year I constantly have people asking me where we got it. If you're looking for a solid, stylish set go for this one.

OK product, though flawed

This item is decent quality, especially given the price. However, I've got some concerns... - It's small. You can't put more than 1 or 2 kinds of cheese on it. I knew ahead of time from the posted dimensions, but it seems even smaller in person. - When it rotates open, the top part has nothing to rest on, and its an inch or so off the table surface, so its not practical to use as shown in the picture unless you put something under it so it doesn't see-saw every time you slice some cheese. In fact, the cynic in me believes that the fruit in the picture is strategically placed so its harder to see the see-saw flaw. See? Bottom line is that it works, but not going to win any awards.

It is a very fun and good quality set. It feels just right - right size, right weight and wood look is just perfect - very wine&cheese country I would say. Wish they included a brief description on how to use each knife. And wish it would be a bit easier to open the storage unit, which is a great feature btw on its own. For the price, you just can't pass by it!

This is a great set for the price. I looked at a lot of sets and compared prices online, and the knives plus the cheese board, are great. A lot of cheese sets don't come with the shaver for hard cheeses, but this one does. The tools are also full tang, hard metal. They don't flex and they aren't flimsy. They store conveniently in the cheese board, and the board is easily opened. There are two indents where you place your fingers to swivel it open. I would recommend this, buy it again, and also use it for a gift.

Good quality, knives are sharp enough. The wood on the handles is good, not what I would call super high end, but nice. The cutting board is a good size for a couple types of cheese. Very happy with this for the price, it made a nice gift to family.

I purchased this cheeseboard this past summer for my mother's birthday. She is a woman who has everything, so I wanted to get an gift she could put to good use and was something that she did not already have. So far, it has held up wonderfully and she uses it a few times a week. The knives are sturdy and are much bigger than most that come with cheeseboards. It can be a bit tricky to open, and you need to be careful so that you don't pinch your fingers. It's a bit on the heavy side, which means it's sturdy, but that could cause some problems for you if you plan on moving it around while entertaining.
