Vacstrip Combo Bags 60-Count

We have Foodsaver V3880 we got from Costco not long ago. Obviously Foodsaver bags are the recurring cost when you start vacuum sealing, so we started looking for an alternative to save money (that's the whole idea, right?) The VacMaster seemed to have good reviews, so we started by ordering this 60 count variety pack. Much cheaper than the Foodsaver brand bags, and advertised to work with Foodsaver equipment, among others. I've been using them for about 2 weeks now. So far, so good. I've used all 3 sizes (20 of each), and they're as good, if not better than any Foodsaver brand bag. I'm very happy with the purchase, and I'll definitely be ordering more. I should mention, the design is slightly different than your traditional Foodsaver bag. On the inside of the bag, in order to allow for the vacuuming to happen, it has a rough, almost sand-paper like feel to it, and sometimes ground beef can get smeared against it and "stuck", with the potential to interfere with the sealing process. But this is avoidable, and I'm making a much bigger deal out of it than it really is. If you're not sloppy or trying to jam excess wet meat into the bag, it's not a problem. And on top of that, they definitely seal better than the Foodsaver bags. It's a tight, perfect seal. I couldn't say the same thing about my Foodsaver bags that came with the machine. All in all, highly recommended. I'd argue they make the Foodsaver/Vacuum sealing process better.
