Must have for canoeing!

must have seat for canoeing! I bought this for a 5 day canoe trip and have zero regrets. lightweight, straps to the canoe seat with ease. great back support, strong, not bulky. I like that it straps to the canoe seat and also has a steap to lock it in place so it stays folded down while portaging. Nice pocket in back of seat to store miscellaneous things. you can use it sitting by the fire, sporting events, picnics.

Decent but not wide enough.

It's a decent seat but it's not wide enough for me. The side support straps dig into my hips making it real uncomfortable after 30 minutes or so. I do have relatively wide hips for a man but I am 5.11 and about 175 so I am not huge. I have tried padding the straps with foam pool noodles which help but not a perfect solution. If your bigger at the hips this seat may not be for you.
