STORi Plastic 5 Compartment Organizer

Yesterday I heard a weird noise in the direction of my dresser and couldn't figure out what it was until I saw that this organizer had shattered completely on its own. No one was near it, nothing fell on it, it wasn't jammed too full of stuff or anything like that, it just shattered without warning. Bought this toward the end of 2018 and used it for my moisturizers and serums. It stayed inside a drawer for years and was treated gently, especially when I forgot about it in about 2021 and it sat there without being touched for two years. Last year I got it out of the drawer and sat it on my dresser so I had easier access to it. I hadn't touched it in probably 2 months when it broke without warning. There's a little dent on the bottom of the organizer and the cracks seem to emanate from that. I don't know why it happened but it was a bad enough break that some very small bits of sharp plastic were left scattered on my dresser and I really can't have that happen again. It's unfortunate because the size and shape of this organizer is fantastic. It's clear enough to see through so I could tell at a glance what I still had left in my stash so I didn't order something I already had. The one large side was great for bigger items like face masks, and the smaller cubes on the other side were best for organizing smaller bottles. I wish this had worked out. I see from other reviews that this has happened before and I guess maybe I was lucky to get a little over five years of use out of it.
