Dale Tiffany Noir Mission Table Lamp

Purchased four of these for a very large bedroom, two on nightstands and two on a long dresser. One arrived broken, which was replaced. Like the style very much. But the quality is marginal at best. The bases are not metal, but cast plaster painted with a metallic paint. The uprights aren't plumb / vertical. The bottoms of the shades aren't level when installed. And, as others have noted, the switches fail. We've owned these for two years, and still love the style. But I'm now having to replace all of the switches because all four have failed. Unfortunately, the square knobs are super-glued onto the switches, making them impossible to reuse. They break when removed. We own three other DT lamps, all of which are wonderful but which were much more expensive. This product was a bad design from the start, cheapened the brand, betrayed the trust they built with us from other products. As a result, these will be the last Dale Tiffany products we purchase.
