Great for the money

Ok, I am one of the "I can cut everything with my existing knives" people. Well, I finally got tired of cutting up salads with steak knives and hand me downs :) I decided it was time to be a big girl and buy a set. I know Ginsu are famous for their annoying infomercials so I was a little hesitant to purchase the brand. However, I received them quickly and in good shape. The knives are sharp and look nice. They have full length support so they are sturdy. I have had them for about 2 months now and they are still cutting like new. I do not use them in the dishwasher but opt to hand wash and dry them. Seeing as How I only use 1 or 2 at a time I don't find this a major nuisance. I suppose if you were using 5 at a time it would be slightly more tedious but still for best results I recommend hand washing and drying them to avoid rust. the carious shapes and sizes accomodate all my chopping needs. I make a lot of fresh food in my little food processor and have to do rough chops several times a week. It easily goes through all fruits and vggies with ease. I also chop up a lot of chicken and beef for my dogs food and again, there is no problems. I highly recommend this product even if it has a cheesy infomercial background! Quality for a great price!

RUSTY
By D. M. L on Reviewed in the United States on October 16, 2009
Okay so i recieve my knives...very quick actually and im all excited with them and when i open the last one i cut myself!..So be careful, eventhough they are pretty well wrapped, they are very sharp!. They look beautiful, scissors are a little cheap but they do the job. The bad thing: eventhough they say they are DISHWASHER SAFE...one of them already has rust marks so i will not recommend you to leave em there for a wash, just hand wash them. Overall not a bad product for the money.
