Better than expected. Very Sturdy. Hire a pro if you're not into house projects.

HONEST REVIEW Got this for mom and dad, holds 70" 4k LG like a champ. Once mounted it can be easily adjusted by one person in seconds. INSTALLATION quickie: 1-Instructions are just ok. You may have to improvise or "figure things out" 2-One person with 4 hands or Two people required to mount the TV, 3 people would be even better to hand tools/help with holding things steady. (good opportunity for family bonding time here, or a good time to bicker over opinions like in my totally functional family...lol) 3-Total time to install was about 30 min. HERE ARE THE INSTALL DETAILS: (use these if installation doesn't make sense or you get stuck) -Read instructions 1, 2, 3, however many times you need. -Gather tools. Drill gun, med-small Phillips flower head screw driver, drill bit to pre-drill screw holes (learn how to pic the perfect size drill bit for screw size, hint: drill bit must be smaller than the edge of screw teeth), and ratchet because it was easiest to use on large hex screws that I used, you will also need a long bubble level to settle between the first two horizontal holes in the studs that you will use for the mount. -Attached the 2 long skinny mounting arms vertically to the TV vesa mount with included screws. Screws were a little too long so I spaced them out with metal washers and I added one rubber washer at the end where it contacts the TV to prevent scratches and make better contact with back of tv. The 2 arms have a little hole in the middle portion, that's for one of the long skinny screws that it's included where you slide one of the black thick nylon washers and screw down as tight as you can only once the TV is mounted on the wall, it keep the skinny arms from sliding off the main rail that's attached on wall. Sounds complicated? It's not once you see it. -Finding studs and lining up holes with a level was by far the longest step in this install, took 15 min. I used a long level, longer than the stand for ease of use. And I used a pencil to mark measurements from the floor as I wanted to slide a spare couch under the TV. -Trouble finding your wall studs? -I suggest to google or youtube "how to find wall studs". It's fairly easy. Lots of methods. Lot's of ways to test as well, like a small drillbit with a cordless drill and a few knock on the wall with your hand will get you to locate the center of each stud in no time. There are cleaner methods to doing it but the wall mount will cover the mess up anyways so not important. -Finally have someone hold the stand as you screw it into your pre-drilled holes which I hope you alligned with a bubble level. The 1st two horizontal holes are most important. The last 2 vertical holes you can just eye-proximate with the drill, make hole and put screw thru. (when i put the screws thru the mounting plate and the wall I used a ratchet to speed up the process and make it easy as my screws were hex head, bolt like) -Now with stand solid on the wall, pull on center and extend. Pick up tv, allign the vertical arms on the tv with the stand mount plate, lean top part on it first, lower bottom gently. Tighten the 2 skinny screws found on the vertical arms in the center. Make sure the vertical arms are mounted properly with the skinny screws on the bottom facing entry upwards. And don't forget to slide one of the large nylon washers on top of the screw to reduce the gap between mount plate and the vertical arms where they meet with the screw. (this step uses phillips screwdriver) -Your tv is now mounted but don't let go quite yet, see how it leans forward? The Wall mount base plate rotates up/down, so now take the little black wrench that was included with mount, or your favorite same size wrench and tighten the 4 screws around the rotating mechanism. Of course have 2 ppl hold the device in desired final position as you screw that rotating part tight. -Finally, take the old feet/stand off your tv, Should be easy now with tv hovering away from the wall in mid air. Your tv mount is ready to go. Sorry for the detailed details ;) hope it helped.

Good for the price, with some caveats...

Overall, for the price I paid ($50) I am very happy with the mount, though there are some design anomalies that should be taken into account before I'd recommend you buy this one. First, the pros. This is by far the sturdiest wall mount in this price range and has a wide wall plate so it has the most ability to set the TV centrally to your room whilst still attaching to 2 studs (mine are the standard 16" apart). It also has plastic anchors for concrete wall installs. They look sturdy enough, but I have not tested this install. Others have stated that the levels included (one embedded into the wall plate, one a separate plastic "torpedo" type) are off alignment. I tested mine against my own level and they both were near perfect. However, I would recommend using a level with a magnetic strip and attaching to the TV plate since this is the piece that you really need to be level, not the wall plate, and keeping the included one on the mount during the install process is extremely difficult. Final pro is the included HDMI. I was expecting a 3' ver. 1.3 type since this is a freebie. But, I was really pleased when I opened the pack and found it was a 10' ver. 1.4 type, which means it is 3D compatible, has audio return and ethernet. Very nice indeed. So, to the cons. Some minor issues - instructions are poor (small, badly printed illustrations, very few specifics on what hardware is used where). But, text instructions are included and illustrate the process of hanging the mount, it's just they stop short of providing specifics about the hardware. My TV is a Samsung 46", which is surely a popular TV, but I ended up buying different bolts because the supplied 2 bolt lengths were either too long (40mm) or too short (20mm). The short bolts only worked if I did not use a washer and if I used all the long bolts I would not have enough spacers. I ended up buying 2x25mm and 2x30mm in order to get a good fit. One issue that is important to mention. The advertised feature on the Amazon page "Post-installation level adjustment allows the TV to perfectly level; assembly required" is either completely false or else misleading. I certainly cannot find this feature in the included instructions. This should not be confused with the "tilt" adjustment, "Adjustable 15 degrees forward tilt" (allowing your screen to lean forward so you can mount the TV high and tilt down as I did). It implies that after installation, you can adjust the horizontal angle of the TV plate. I do not see how it can be done and it is not included in the instruction manual. Now, the next issues I would count as design flaws. They specifically impede access to basic features of your TV or mount. First, as the product photos show, there are no access holes in the TV plate. The plate sits between 1 inch and 1.5 inches from the back surface of the TV, depending on if the TV is tilted forward or not. If it is not tilted at all, I could not hook up any cables to the back of the TV, other than those that are positioned angled sideways or actually on the side panel. In full tilt, I can plug cables easily in ONLY if I remove the TV first. There is a small access groove cut into the sides to allow hands to get closer, but on smaller TV's, this is not close to useable. For the same reason, the forward tilt also cannot be adjusted without first taking the TV off the mount. On larger TVs, the VESA mounts would be farther apart, but this still does not account for the fact that the "barbell" type lever that adjusts the tilt is simply too long to be horizontal in that 1-1.5 inch gap, meaning that it is impossible to turn more than 15 degrees or so. You might, in that 15 degrees, be able to loosen just enough with 1.5 inches clearance, but how do you re-tighten in the 1 inch clearance? In the manual, it clearly states you can adjust after mounting the TV. It's just so strange since if the tightening adjustment had been a wheel or even a smaller barbell, or even an Allen wrench it would be possible. This is a detailed review, and I should mention that I am overall, quite pleased with the mount. It is sturdy, cheap, adjustable (just not quite as advertised or expected) and came with a great HDMI, two bubble levels and a variety of hardware options. The flaws might be a deal-breaker to some, so I included them to help people make a decision. If you plan to adjust the tilt, or plug/unplug devices from the back panel a lot, choose another brand. Really, this is designed for bigger TV's, but I bought specifically so down the road I could mount bigger if I needed, and adjust the angle etc. I gave 3 stars for the "different than advertised" problems, though for my needs it's fine.
