I know it's a Salad bowl but I use it as the fruit basket. I love the shape and design. It's modern and sturdy and looks beautiful on the counter when filled with the seasonal fruits.

Great design but some flaws

I bought this in black. I love the design however I was a bit disappointed on a couple points. One, it is VERY large. I feel like it should be at least a third and may even a whole a half smaller for regular family use. As it is, I've put it away and only use it for large dinner parties. To give you an idea, the amount of salad or pasta to fill this visually would be for 6+ people. Any less, and your food looks "lonely". (And it takes a whole drawer to store). Two, there is a visible seam along the "waist" of the bowl. It's not major but still, a bit of a letdown on such a beautiful item.
