Triple Laundry Sorter

I purchased this to replace the same item which has been in service for 13 years. We just redecorated/rehabbed our bedroom and walk-in closet, and thought it was time to replace this item since the mesh bags had gotten mutiple small tears in them over all these years, and some of the plastic tubing had been repaired. The cracks and chips in the tubing/connectors were a result of trying to use this item as assembled per instructions - and it does easily collapse under normal use if you just press-fit the parts. But then we glued the parts together with pvc glue, and there have been no more problems. So, if you're willing to go through this extra step, this turns out to be a pretty good system. I think the mesh bags are ideal for holding laundry - feather weight and very strong; allows superior air-flow to keep damp-ish laundry from getting musty; can borrow a bag to take with on vacation, to the beach, or a laundromat and can easily find a replacement it if you lose it; and some similar designs with metal handles on cloth bags - I don't know, but it looks like the ends of the metal handles could snag clothing or jab you if you're not super careful - plus they stay very clean since most crud would just fall through the mesh plus it's really hard to see discolorations on mesh anyway. One final caveat: I wouldn't plan on rolling this cart more than a few inches while it's loaded: your floor will be supporting most of the weight of your laundry, and the top of this item will shear relative to the bottem as you push, if there's enough of a load, and you may break the frame. Edit: based on manufacturer's changes to the item : the maufacturer now includes a mesh bottom panel with sleeves at each of the four sides that you run all 4 bottom pvc pieces through before adding the corner-joint pieces. It's a tight fit and prevents these pieces AND all the other pieces attached to them from moving out of place. The re-designed item can now take normal use without falling apart - even without the use of pvc glue.
