I purchased two of these 1-quart Anchor Hocking glass mixing bowls and love that they're oven proof and not too heavy. I am VERY pleased with their size, versatility, capacity and quality. The primary reason I purchased two of these 1-quart Anchor Hocking glass mixing bowls was so I could put to test the recipe for the Peasant Bread that we've all seen on Instagram and TikTok. Since receiving these Anchor Hocking bowls, I can now easily make and bake two delicious loaves of the Peasant Bread, as well as use the bowls for salads, hot vegetables, soup and even food storage.

Great bowls but may not stack well

For the most part a great bowl. Looks good, convenient size, dishwasher safe. My one issue is that I store these stacked in the cabinet, and I have found that every 3rd or 4th bowl is slightly irregular -- not a consistent shape. The result is that the stack shifts around a bit, and is somewhat higher than it should be. I worry that the inconsistent pressure wil break on, but that has never happened. I don't know if some of these are factory seconds? Not a huge deal, but a little annoying. You can't tell when you look at an individual bowl....
