Black & Decker 12-Cup Coffeemaker

This coffeemaker must have been built by an amateur, few if any of the parts match the openings they were designed for. The only good part of it is that it makes coffee and the timer works. I use it strictly for my morning coffee. I had a Black and Decker Smartbrew coffeemaker and I loved it, that's why I chose this one, I thought it might be very similar to the Smartbrew. I was extremely surprised to find there was such a huge difference in the quality of the two items. The cover for the water reservoir doesn't match the opening of the reservoir. The pot itself drips on the counter when the coffee is being poured. I can't see the clock face because it isn't lit. The water measurements are there but are in an awkward position so it can't be seen while filling the reservoir. The on button has to be pushed twice to start the timer mechanism instead of having a button for that setting, and you don't find that in the instruction booklet I had to find it out for myself. The only reason I keep it is because I don't have another working coffee maker and I can't just run to the nearest store to buy a new one. I bought it online because I live sixty-four miles from the nearest department store.
