Definitely do the job!

My husband wanted better suit hangers than the ones his suits came with. In particular, he wanted something more substantial to hold the jacket with the shoulders more filled out, and a pants bar that would grip without having to do and undo a catch which tends to cause creases and wear. These hangers definitely fit the bill. They fill his suit jackets out nicely, and the pants don't slide off and don't get creased either. My husband immediately asked me to order a second set, and now that he just got some new suits, he requested even more! I have kept an eye out for anything similar or better in stores and haven't yet found anything comparable. The price some stores charge for hangers is ridiculous, and they tend to be normal suit hangers anyway. I'd definitely recommend taking the plunge on these -- I wish I had earlier rather than search every store I could think of.

Low Quality

These were not as expected. The pants bars are secured to the top part of the hanger with a nail, instead of being secured in a hole in the hanger. This is weak construction that will eventually break. I am disappointed that Amazon did not describe the construction more accurately on their web site. I would not have purchased these if I had known about the low quality construction. In addition, the black paint was chipped off in one section when the hangers arrived and other parts of the hangers show poor finish quality. I did not send them back only because it was not worth the additional cost. I will use them until they fall apart, and then throw them away. In the future I will find another vendor for hangers.
