North American Outdoor 35-Quart Saf-T-Cooker / Turkey Fryer

I've been frying turkey for many years but the quality of the frying units has left me wanting. I've spent too many a cold holiday with vice grip and duct tape in hand, trying to keep the fire going and temperature set correctly. I just purchased this cooker and I must say this is an excellent unit which is very well thought out. High quality construction. Very safe and stable. Convenient (electric starter). Great control over fire and temperature. You can tell this was developed by someone who fries... the drain valve is a great touch, and it even has a secondary cap to further prevent leaks. The basket used to transport and raise / lower the turkey is much more stable and provides greater control than the cheap hooks used by other units. Yes, the 15 minute reset can be somewhat annoying, but if you consider that you can fry 15 pounds in under an hour, you only have to reset it 2-3 times. Since you really shouldn't be leaving the unit unattended too long, it's a small price (and probably worthwhile) to pay to get a high quality unit like this at a very good price. I've spent more time outside with the lower quality cookers just trying to keep the flame burning anyway! Highly recommended.
