THE DIAL CONTROL IS KEY! THIS IS THE ONE!
By jutty on Reviewed in the United States on March 2, 2021
This is the one. It has flat wires you can't feel. You can put a waterproof cover OVER this and it works fine. That means way less (none?) washing, which is the enemy of these things. The plug-in spots on the pad are in the right place down the vertical portion and go unnoticed during use. The heating is excellent, even, and goes all the way to the edge of the bed, which is a nice touch that not all of them have. And now for the MOST IMPORTANT thing. The controller. It is so beautifully simple! Many other models come with silly over-engineered digital controller pads with 4-6 smooth buttons that are effectively indistinguishable when fumbling around in the dark half asleep. You have to physically look at the display with your eyeballs to adjust the temp. That's bad! This baby has an on/off button and a huge dial! That's it. Awesome! You can adjust it in pitch darkness without looking. That's a big deal. Think about it. You don't need 15 stupid gimmick pre/post/timer/ heater/this/that/settings all controlled by a 8 button, 30w super bright led display that stares at you like the Eye of Sauron all night long. Useless. Beyond useless, actually irritating! This unit's controller reminds me of a Toyota 4runner's huge HVAC control knobs. Intentionally huge and easy to use. You could operate this pad's controller wearing sealskin mittens. No joke. It also has 3 nice feet that grip very well when clean. They wipe clean with a swipe of a finger and grip like new again. Nice. No need for double stick tape to keep the cords from pulling it off the nightstand. My previous garbage unit's (SunB) controller was too light and had crappy feet, leading to many late night crashes (sorry for waking you honey) occuring while fumbling around, trying to figure out which of the 4 identical buttons I just pushed. Just a dumb design. This is 100% a case where a dial control is absolutely superior to buttons. It's the same reasons vehicles still keep volume and heater knobs. They are the best solution for certain applications. This happens to be the same. Sadly, a rando layperson like myself seems to grasp this concept better than the majority of mattress pad designers. I've had like 5 of these things. All different brands. This is the one.

Amazon is allowing companies to sell products that are defective
By Kindle Customer on Reviewed in the United States on April 18, 2025
We purchased this King Size mattress pad from Amazon in 2023. Per the advertisement it has a five-year warranty. One side of the pad quit working after about a year and a half. We tried to switch controllers with the opposite side but the pad still would not work, so we tried to contact the seller. Goggle couldn't find a working number saying the manufacturer might be out of business and the number it found led back to AMAZON. Turns out the company is one of the companies that sells on Amazon. We then contacted Amazon who said it had been too long since we purchased the pad, and they couldn't help. Even though they admitted the product was from one of their sellers and they (Amazon) were still selling it on their site for $32 less than we paid for it a year and a half earlier. It appears they know the product is bad and marked it down to get rid of stock. When we pressed the Customer Service agent for a solution, they agent finally gave us a telephone number for the manufacturer which turn out to be bogus, as it was to another business with a similar name that sold paving equipment. The person who answered the phone said he has received hundreds of calls about the mattress pad that Amazon had given out his number. Looks like we lost our money on this cheap Chinese knockoff import and Amazon is not backing up the products from companies selling on their site!
