Great flavor and quality

First time purchase. I counted 82 sticks and almost 1.5 ounces of pieces (which I will grind and use for coffee or baking) Good condition, great aroma and taste (with the 2 I used so far) I used it when making a ginger-lemon tea and this Ceylon cinnamon tastes so much better than conventional cinnamon sticks. It's a delicate product so there will be broken pieces - I don't think it's intentional and I will purchase again.

Doesn't compare in great taste and rich fragance with the Frontier Ground Cinnamon Certified Organic (3% Oil), 16 Ounce
By LEGS-Eileen on Reviewed in the United States on June 17, 2014
I used the product as a natural remedy controlling my sugar metabolism. It was doing well for months until I over did it putting cinnamon into everything I ate. Then I wasn't feeling so great. I read some more about the difference between the real cinnamon... Organic Ceylon and the Cassia and how one did better work than the other...and thought that could have been what was happening to me. When I tried to purchase the REAL Organic Ceylon I came across with the problem of product FRAUD//FAKE.... some companies out there are selling the Cassia Sticks as Ceylon and others are selling you the already grounded cinnamon (Cassia) as Ceylon... the prices for the CEYLON are SKY high too and the shipping and handling costs are expensive as well. Nevertheless, I decided to purchase from the same company that sold me the last Cassia Cinnamon that smelled and tasted so good.... but perhaps did not worked as perfectly as the REAL cinnamon is said to work Therefore, I faithfully ordered from Frontier, and ordered the STICKS because I could check the characteristics particularly specified to distinguish the difference between the two types of Cinnamon. To my surprise... The Ceylon 3" Organic Fair Trade Certified, does NOT seem soft to the touch, even though they do look like a cigar compared to the "cavy opening inside the sides of the Cassia Sticks. I had grinded 4 pieces of the Ceylon Cinnamon as smooth as I could and after stirring it to my tea not only would it not mix hardly but it would not give it not flavor as well. I tried to taste the Ceylon Cinnamon and had to try three times the amount of Cassia and had to spit it off my mouth as it taste like tree bark instead of good old cinnamon. Perhaps it is that I started and got used to the delicious Organic Cassia Cinnamon. OR the Ceylon Sticks that I purchased from Frontier. Perhaps I should had spent more money and ordered the product directly from Ceylon but I absolutely could have NOT afford it. I wish I could have the opportunity to taste the difference and report it here correcting this review. As far as what I have experienced so far: Don't waste your money in Ceylon Cinnamon Sticks from Frontier if you are looking for good taste, good smell and a good sugar metabolism as well at a superb discount!!
