Excellent Buy

Update: I have been using this periodically for over 9 years and it still works. I did have some issue with the handle falling out on occasion over the years, so the plastic has cracked from the drops, but it is still great for what I bought it for. LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! I could not do my clay designs without this machine. I had to run a piece of raw clay through it to get the gray oil streaks worked out of the rollers. However, the good news is... you can keep running the clay through a handful or more times to "blend" in those streaks (so, no clay lost)! I use this machine to do solid color blends and it is essential for doing skinner blends with polymer clay. The handle fits snuggly and cranks smoothly, offering great performance. I've been using it for about a month now. The clamp was a little awkward to place into the hole because it is bigger than the bar, but it holds very sturdily. The price was more reasonable than some of the other brands. One Note: After running clay through, some very small smudges may remain in the machine and get blended into other colors later. It's a very minuscule amount, so you can either scratch it off of your new clay or just keep blending it in. It's the nature of the clay, not the machine necessarily.

it seems like a nice maker
By Suzie Q on Reviewed in the United States on April 4, 2015
Hmm - new to pasta making, but WOW what a chore to clean up! First time to use, and following recipe in booklet that is included, I used, as directed, 2 cups of flour and FIVE eggs - - waaaaaay too gooey, and added who knows how much more flour - - kept adding and adding and adding, and first runs through the pasta maker were still too wet - - partly why the pasta maker was hard to clean, no doubt. So, being instructed NOT to use water for clean up, I used: a damp cloth, wax paper, as directed, then finally toothpicks and a toothbrush (brand new out of the package, obviously). Spent a LONG time cleaning up. SO, I'm not sure what future attempts will bring. But for now, it seems like a nice maker, however, the box and packaging smelled like chemicals or something pretty bad for food use, and naturally the first reaction was to want to clean it. I used rubbing alcohol on the outside parts and dabbed here and there, then, as directed, threw away the first runs of dough. As others have mentioned, the handle does fall out easily. Also, it is supposed to be clamped to the edge of a table or counter, which I couldn't do with my kitchen counter, so I did not clamp it down, and it was okay. 'Hopefully, I will learn and things will go better in the future. Good price. Heavy "machine". 'Seems like good quality.
