Can't Live Without It!
By Lily C. Baker on Reviewed in the United States on January 3, 2012
Between my Toto Washlet, heated floor tiles, jetted tub, and now this little towel warmer, I really hate to leave my house. And this is from someone who used to love to travel! We have a newly remodeled, beautiful master bath and we used high-end materials and I think this towel warmer looks charming in it. One of the reviewers complained of it looking cheesy, but I think it has a really nice modern and clean profile and adds to the look of our bath. And we won a best bath award, so we really take aesthetics seriously! Now, as to function, it's wonderful but not perfect, but I'm willing to work around it's imperfections for the performance and the price. Some of the reviewers seemed to say that it was a gentle heat that it puts out, but I think it's quite hot. Hot to the touch. You wouldn't want to leave your hand on it for more than a second or two which can be tricky when trying to lay a wet towel over it and down the backside since it's near to the wall, which btw, is a plus since you wouldn't want it jutting into your bathroom and impeding foot traffic. It doesn't have a timer, which means that before we go to bed, last one in the bathroom checks it to see if it's powered off (yes, it does have a power button, very conveniently located). Some reviewers said they keep it on all the time, I would if I knew what the impact would be to our energy usage. But it's unnecessary since it dries our towels nicely in a couple of hours then it's not needed for the rest of the day. And pushing a button while you're brushing your teeth is no biggie for us. Our towels stay fresh for longer and I use it to dry my robe after a shower as well. We also toss our hand towels on it to keep them from moldering during the winter months when we don't have windows open to freshen and move the air in the bath. This was a great purchase and when we add an upstairs guest bath, I'll get one for there as well.

It’s very lightweight.

The sturdiness of this product is not the best. But it does keep your towels dry.
