I bought this for my young adult son but am constantly using it. It cuts beautifully. Sharp and with a long blade, it slices through even frozen bread like it's "butta". Excellent quality and value.

A good bread knife -- large but not that ergonomic

This is a good bread knife. The blade is large, which I like. Its serrations are relatively effective, but not exceptionally sharp. The blade is not very flexible which impairs its maneuverability and cutting ability in some contexts. The handle is hard, probably composite/impregnated wood, and only somewhat ergonomically shaped. Overall, the knife is attractive and cuts well.
