I know it's kind of silly, but looking at all of my utensils neatly stored in my new utensil holder gives me a tiny burst of happiness. It's pretty and useful. I have about 14 utensils in it, and they fit comfortably. I've not had any issues with utensils falling out or poking through the sides. The bottom can best be described as an open-weave design of wire that supports all of my utensils. I love the bronze color--it matches the accents in my stone counter-tops and is a nice complement to my turquoise / teal kitchen accessories.

I really like the look of this utensil holder and it matches a paper towel holder I ordered. However, I feel like it needs some kind of wire mesh or maybe a clear plastic layer around the sides on the inside--if my utensils aren't at the right angle or if the holder is particularly full, then the bottoms of the utensils start to fall out the open spaces in the sides. I have to constantly adjust, regroup, and reposition the utensils because of the product design. I could probably fix it on my own by adding the wire or plastic I mentioned above but... I shouldn't have to! :P
