Very unhappy; all previous purchases were great but I got a lemon this time

I just purchased my 3rd zinus memory foam mattress. I have bought a new one every year for last 3 years. I have never had a problem with previous purchases. I don’t feel this products lifespan is that long but it’s cheap enough and I like it enough it hasn’t stopped me from ordering more. Well I am so incredibly disappointed not to mention sleep deprived because my most recent mattress is defective. So far all the company can tell me is that it can take up to a full week for it to take final form. Well, it has been 8 days and it has not grown any thicker since day 2. I can’t even lean it on its side because it’s so flimsy. Again not an issue I have ever had before. If the seller does not replace this mattress I will be adding more to this review. I currently have it on top of my old zinus because I could feel the slats in my back with new mattress. I took pictures with measuring tape next to both of them and you can see one clearly measure 8” and the new one only measures 6”. I will be extremely pissed off it I wasted close to $400 for a mattress that is going to end up at the dump. They better offer a solution. Why they would want to lose a customer who buys a new mattress from them every year is beyond me. I’ll update very soon when I hear a response from them.

Works great (comfort weight limit maybe?)

Bought this bed for our guest bedroom. The packaging was awesome. Shipped in a box, rolled up. Pulled the bed out, and carefully opened the bag with a pair of scissors. Unrolled the bed and let it air out for a few days. If you are sensitive to smells and will be using this bed for daily use, be aware that the smell may linger for sometime. To me, it wasn't a bad smell, just a weird smell. I slept on it one night to test the comfort. I thoroughly enjoyed it and woke up without any aches and pains. I am a 125lb woman, so this would be good for someone around my weight or less, and would be great for a child/teen. My hubby tried this (200lb), and found it comfortable for a few hours then decided he would never try to sleep in it again and thought a mattress pad may help a bit for someone his weight. Overall I'm happy with the purchase, and would buy this brand again.
