Pine Letter Rack W/Key Hooks

Significantly lower quality than what you see in the photo. The photo looks like a nicely sanded, well finished, product made from solid wood. When I received it, I was immediately disappointed. The sides, bottom strip and top strip are pine, but the strips that make up the letter shelves are plywood. The plus can be easily seen on the edge facing outwards. All the wood has a rough feel to it, as if it was only quickly sanded. The plywood edges are kind of frayed with raised pieces of grain sticking out. It appears to have been stained, but no varnish applied. In some places, you can see streaks in the stain. It looks like someone painted the stain on, the stain ran, and it was allowed to sit and mostly dry before it the excess was wiped off. I struggled between a 2 star and 3 star review. The photo makes it look so much better than what you receive that I thought it should get 2 stars. But on the other hand, it's pretty cheap so you get what you pay for. I'll probably sand mine a bit and put a clear finish on it to try to make it look a little more presentable. As it is, the rough surface will quickly collect dust and look even worse.
