Measuring Cups Set of 4

Our/My(jj) Swedish-Mrs/MissThisandThatReviewsforYou review in short for, Cuisinart CTG-00-SMC* Stainless Steel Measuring Cups, Set of 4,Silver) (I bought these to go with the mated offering of the Cuisinart CTG-00-SMP* Stainless Steel Measuring Spoons, Set of 4,Silver) As someone who has used Measuring cups and Spoons Sets for personal baking, I do occasionally like to look at the offerings when a seemingly complete set comes up for sale for less than $10USD. These were a matched set for under $20 so I decided to give them a try. Ok the first thing I noticed was that the cups and spoons DO match up as a mated set should. However what you will find also is that except for the 1/4tsp the measure is more accurate as in rounding down as in 237ml-tocup which is closer to 1.01cup as opposed to 240mltocups which is a bit more over than that. The spoons are also closer to accurate measure than others, except for the quarter teaspoon which is for somereason on the standard larger side, but I also think they are assuming bakers will still weight measure the ingredients. However on the down side what you still hav is a very precise imprecise unit of measure for a precisely smithed cups and spoons set, so this is still unacceptable as they could have all of the cups and spoons cut to within 0.0001percentile of accuracy of measure as it is 2023ad and machine cut metals are cut as measurements are entered , So you need only indicate to the system the exact volume of measure, as in they could have been far closer in accuracy of measure, as I have had several sets that were more than 99.9999percent accurately cut years prior. As I said that being said, I DO like the look of the set and if you are not the one for measuring everything, it is reasonable in terms of margine of precise error of ingredients measure, but as I said you will need to double check the 1/4teaspoon as it is more on the larger side of error although still within a range, but not quite balanced with the more precise measure of the rest of the set. The measurements for volume are reasonably accurate though, so if you don’t mind a granule or ten off it should be okay, otherwise, But, being a demanding person and a big fan of Cuisinart, and like most people, who want accuracy as well as functionality, um I (JJ) DO mind and they should have done better. Overall the set is generally nice enough to have on display, and within a reasonable margine of accuracy despite the fact that technology today allows for 100percent accuracy of a measure in such items, so… just saying. I will probably keep looking just in case, but this set is okay but a serious baker may want to use the scale anyways. So,But, All in All, compared to the sets that are less attractive and less accurate, it is okay, but should have been on sale for less considering not their greatest kitchen accessory offering thus far… OK, but room for improvement.. Overall Grade C-minus or 2.75Stars!.
