Super-sharp!! Best Mandoline I have. Much better than a V-slicer! Follow the directions, wear the Cut Resistant Glove, be careful! This replaced a V-slicer, which was too “dangerous’.

Overpriced, lacks finish

I bought this partly because of the reputation of the manufacturer. The concept was good, but lacked in the finish of the product. The features are very helpful for doing a variety of different items. The issue I have with it is the blade was dull. For the retail price you would have thought they would have provided a very well sharpened blade. It was rough (grinder marks showing) and did not have the sharpness needed to make any of the cuts you would use a mandolin for. In order to make it even usable, I had to go through the process of sharpening it. Once done, it became a decent product. Although for the price, I would have bought another v-blade mandolin, as the one I have had for 10 years has become dull and with a fixed blade, I cannot sharpen it effectively.
