Got this as a replacement for another B&D under the counter can opener after many years of use. It is for my mother inlaw and she seems to love it.

Very excellent with some trade-offs

Works very well. The intructions do not describe the magnetic lid holder which comes separate and needs to be installed. It took a while to figure it out, then it was simple. I guess others are more used to this feature. It requires a starter hole with a regular can opener. After holding it up up on the wheel, it starts as the lever is lowered. It does not stop automatically. Cans are difficult to open and I reaaly enjoy the help this provides. A good purchase.
