More function over form but performs nicely - arrived with manufacturing defect but company is replacing.

Shoe rack sits in a closet so no need for it to look good, but how the company suggests that shoes be stored is not functional at all. Shoes are removed more easily from the rack if placed 'toe-in'. The support legs on the right side of the rack came mis-drilled so only one bolt is currently holding the rack together. Manufacturer has been contacted and is sending a replacement. I have concerns about the stability of the shoe rack if it were ever to be jostled or bumped into. Very narrow. In conclusion it gets the job done for a fair price. Next time around would probably purchase the larger capacity rack with wheels.

I always wanted to solve this shoe storage problem wuthout custom building my closet. I bought this hoping it will be the solution and it is. The racks are fairly simple to build, and I did it without my husband. The top half and the bottom half were difficult to bring together but I figured it out after some wrestling. I dont remember how many they said it will hold but it holds all the shoes we own plus room for me to get 10 or 15 more pairs and I already have a lot of shoes. The actual racks have the sandpaper-like surface and that absolutely keeps shoes from slipping. I love that. On the other hand, it also works against me. My husband has big feet and while his shoes fit okay, the the shoes get rubbed on the rough underside of the bars above so we have to be careful. It is a tower indeed, it is slim so you can put it in a narrow closet and you will hardly miss the extra space. But because it is tall and skinny you could accidentally tip it. We have it in our closet on carpet and have not tippednit yet but understand it is a possibility. Overall I love this rack.
Works great for high heels!

I was looking for a way to keep all my beautiful shoes organized and to have them taking up less space in the closet, and this shoe rack is perfect for my needs. I can easily fit 5 pairs of heels/shoes on each shelf and there are eight shelves total. It was very simple to put together and I have it completely full (40 pairs of shoes) and it is as sturdy as I need it to be. A couple things to keep in mind if you are considering this: 1) I did find that shoes with no heel (such as ballet flats, many wedge-heeled styles, or shoes with no heel that also have a slick sole) are a bit slippery for this, but I tend to put non-stick foot petals on those anyway, so mine are able to grip the rods of the rack just fine, but that is something to keep in mind depending on the type(s) of shoes in your collection. 2) I love high heels (the higher the better in my book!) and If you have high heels and are wondering if they will fit, they definitely will. Most of my heels are 3-4" but I do have a few that are 4-5" and they fit just fine. It take a few extra seconds to maneuver whatever pair you are putting on the shelf immediately below a pair with a high heel (because the heel of the pair above will hang down below the rods), but it's really not a problem. 3) If you are a fan of booties/ankle boots/heels with very high, stiff ankle straps, I found that they fit best on the top shelf because then there is no shelf above them to limit the height of the shoe. (I'm not sure if that makes sense, but you should know that if most of your shoes are that type, then this would not be practical. I have five pairs like that, so it's fine for me to just put those on top, but it would be a pain if you were trying to fit a lot of ankle booties on here.) Other than that it is fantastic. I'm so happy with it and my husband is so happy to have all my shoes off the floor of the closet! I only wish I would have had the vertical closet space for the 50-pair tower instead because I have filled this on up completely!
Not bad and gets the job done

Been searching forever for a shoe rack but couldn’t find exactly what I had in mind short of having one built but this rack gets the job done. It is simple & straightforward to assemble, holds a decent amount of shoes with enough clearance to slide flats underneath the bottom row but it is a little wobbly. I wear a woman’s size 10 and most rows could hold 5 pairs. I have a small walk in closet & needed something that didn’t take up a lot of room yet held plenty of shoes and this holds majority of them. Also got it on a great deal at $27 so the price was something I didn’t mind paying and makes it worth it.
Love it! Love it! Love it!

I've struggled with various styles of shoe racks for years, and had never found anything that worked very well. I wanted to eliminate 3 smaller shoe racks that weren't working well with one larger one. Before I purchased this one, I must have researched every shoe rack on the internet. Well my research paid off because this is the best rack for shoes that I have ever found. It arrived last night and even though it was late, I decided to put it together. What they said would be a 30-minute assembly took me longer, BUT it was my own fault. So here is an assembly tip -- there is an "inside" and "outside" to the chrome side panels (Both sides of each panel do look very much the same, but the weld spots go on the inside). The company indicates that fact in the instructions, but I guess I just didn't notice it. I assembled the first half of it wrong and had to take it apart and reassemble it. So don't make my mistake. One of the negative reviewers commented that the holes were drilled wrong. Well I'm sure that this purchaser did what I did and didn't realize their mistake. The holes are positioned correctly if you assemble it correctly. So I hope this suggestion helps someone else. Bottom line -- If you have a need for a large shoe rack, you won't go wrong with this one. The price is right, it's sturdy, practical and attractive and holds a closet full of shoes!

I had a cheaper version of this kind of shoe rack for many years & eventually had to use some thread & a nail to tie it to the wall. One day it gave & collapsed...all my shoes covering my entry area (where I keep my shoes). The first thing I did was go to Amazon to find a replacement...the reviews are very important in almost all my purchases. I am so happy with this shoe rack. I did have to get rid of about 4 pair of shoes to make them all fit, but those needed to go anyway. My shoes stay in place because of the non-slip tubes & always look nice & neat. The side frame is very durable & steady...no rocking around with a fear of it falling over or collapsing. Assembly was very easy & took maybe 15 minutes. I definitely recommend this shoe rack...I don't think I could have made a smarter purchase for myself.
Very Durable!

So easy to put together. Forty pairs of shoes can fit on this stand. A little less space for larger shoes. Priced great.
